share the result of learning in urban permaculture in the city of Chillán. Decided to replace an ornamental grass garden, this can function as a greenhouse in the colder periods of the year. The work was to improve soil quality using straw, sawdust, mulch and compost and introducing variety of vegetables. Almost a year the result was good, the fertilizer is produced from the organic kitchen waste and extensive work by our friends the earthworms (Eisenia foetida or California).
